Why I Want to Host
Vivie was raised as a child mostly by her grandmother who taught her to create the perfect synthesis of the different spices and flavors of her hometown. Every day after school, Vivie and her grandmother got together and cooked dinner for their family. Her family seldom ate at restaurants because Vivie and her grandmother created and served such delightful dishes at home. She wants to extend this kind of hospitality to all foreign guests visiting China!
Besides Food, What I'm Passionate About
Dancing, karaoke, playing guitar, fitness, and travel. Vivie and Chris routinely trek through historical towns across Greater China and enjoy a good game of beer pong on occasion.
About Me
Originally from Guizhou, Vivie was taught to cook by her grandmother, learning the perfect synthesis of spices and flavors from her hometown. She moved to Shanghai at eighteen to attend university and has lived here for the past decade with her husband Chris and their two cats Frank and Tim in their comfortable apartment near Xin Hua road.
